Shanna Pacifico was the chef of Pacifico’s Fine Foods in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood before it shuttered in February 2015. Now, she’s taken her seasonal, locally-sourced food influenced by her Brazilian-American heritage on the road with pop-ups and other projects. Here, she tells us all about the challenges of running her own restaurant and the life lessons she’s learned along the way.
